our network of volunteer dental professionals.

AMY’S STORY

Amy S. was battling stage IV metastatic breast cancer. While undergoing radiation treatment, she was also confronting other challenges including her dental health. She was missing several teeth, her lower partial no longer fit, and her upper partial had been broken for five years, leaving Amy to constantly have to glue it back together. Unable to afford treatment, and unable to work due to her health, dental care seemed like a luxury far beyond Amy’s reach.

Thankfully, three generous DLN volunteers came to Amy’s aid. They restored four teeth and donated new upper and lower partial dentures. Thanks to this caring team, Amy received nearly $5,400 in donated treatment!
